Congratulations Award Winners! 

Congratulations Michael Tuttle, AJ Lee, Sullivan Tuttle & Jack Tuttle for winning awards from the Northern California Bluegrass Society!  Michael won Best Mandolin Player, AJ won Best Female Vocalist, Sullivan won Best Guitarist and Jack won Best Fiddle Player!  Thank you NCBS for promoting live bluegrass music and organizing the annual awards event.  Thank you to everyone who voted for Michael, AJ, Sully & Jack.

Michael Tuttle, AJ Lee, Sullivan Tuttle & Jack Tuttle are all finalists in the Northern California Bluegrass Awards - congratulations!  They will be performing at the awards ceremony this weekend in Redwood City, CA.

40th Annual Father's Day Festival in Grass Valley! 

AJ and Molly are excited to be performing this weekend at the California Bluegrass Association's 40th Annual Father's Day Festival!  AJ will be part of OMGG band and Molly will perform with Molly Tuttle & Friends.  Jack and Molly are at the festival camp now, teaching.  Come on out!

The Tuttles With A. J. Lee Return, Named Best Bluegrass Band In Northern California Bluegrass Awards

"The popular family act The Tuttles With A. J. Lee returned to the winner’s circle, claiming another title as best bluegrass band in the Northern California Bluegrass Awards held in Redwood City on January 24, 2015. Jack Tuttle won for best fiddle player, Michael Tuttle for best mandolin player, and A. J. Lee as best female vocalist.  The Tuttle family is from Palo Alto and Lee is from Tracy.  The 8th annual awards were presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society as part of the weekend-long Bluegrass On Broadway Festival." - Northern California Bluegrass Society website news (www.NCBS.org)

Band News 

We'll be playing at private events this fall, then Molly returns to Boston for festivals there.  We all reunite at one of our favorite venues on Jan. 17 -- the Redwood Bluegrass Associates Concert Series in Mountain View, California.  We've been playing there for so many years that the audience is like family.  Lots of band news --  AJ will come out with her own awesome EP this fall!  See http://www.aissalee.com/  for details.   Molly's EP with The Goodbye Girls is high in the charts & she is a finalist in the FreshGrass Festival's Duet Contest, MA!  See http://www.mollytuttle.net/ for more.   Sullivan is about to go off to start college at UCSC!  Stay tuned for more exciting developments from the band. 

Join us at Dead on the Creek Festival! 

We're so happy to return to the wonderful Dead on the Creek festival in Willits, CA this year!  We'll play a long set on Monday, August 11.  This very friendly community/festival provides unlimited & delicious meals, wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, fun activities for families, a swimming pond, places to camp and great music.  Tickets are sold in 3 or 4 day sets, but if you'd like to ask about attending just one or two days, or look into work/trade ticket discounts, contact Uncle John Phillips at John@DeadOnTheCreek.com.
